Iranian Wrestlers Win Two Golds at Waclaw Ziolkowski Memorial
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Alireza Ghasemi and Abbas Tahan from Iran claimed two gold medals at the Waclaw Ziolkowski Memorial wrestling tournament in Poland on Friday.
The Iranian 74kg freestyle wrestler Ghasemi defeated his Japanese rival 4-0 in the final match and claimed a gold medal.
Abbas Tahan in the 97kg also claimed a gold medal after defeating his Georgian opponent 3-1.
Another Iranian wrestler Mohammad Hossein Mohammadian seized a bronze medal in the 97kg.
Morteza Rezaei Ghaleh also bagged a bronze medal in the 74kg.
Iran had participated at the Waclaw Ziolkowski Memorial with five wrestlers.
