Iran to Host Int'l Exhibition on Women's Role: VP
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs Shahindokht Molaverdi announced that the country would hold the 2nd International Exhibition and Conference on Role of Women in Sustainable Development next month.
The Iranian capital of Tehran will host the four-day event on September 15-18, Molaverdi said in a press conference on Sunday.
The exhibition is mounted in collaboration with Iran's Women and Family Affairs Vice-presidency and Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, she added.
According to Molaverdi, the Best Entrepreneur Woman of the Year award will be presented for the first time in this year's international exhibition, whose motto is "Entrepreneurship, Employment".
The 2015 event will be held with the aim of explaining the platform and entrepreneurship of women in sustainable development and taking advantage of successful national and international experiences, focusing on entrepreneurship and providing job opportunities.
