Iran Blind Football Team Advances to Rio 2016 Paralympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated South Korea 4-0 in the IBSA Asian Blind Football Championships to book a place at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
This year’s competition is taking place in Tokyo, Japan, from August 30 to September 9.
Iran will play China on Monday in the final match of the IBSA Asian Blind Football Championships.
The tournament was the last opportunity for Asian countries to qualify for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
China and Iran, as the top two teams, secured their places in Brazil.
