Iran’s Ashourzadeh Claims Bronze at World Taekwondo Grand Prix

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Farzan Ashourzadeh of Iran claimed a bronze medal at the 2015 WTF World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series 3 in Manchester.

In the male -58kg division, Ashourzadeh and Tae-hun Kim of Korea took bronzes.

Nursultan Mamayev of Kazakhstan defeated Spaniard Jesus Tortosa in the final match and won the gold medal.

Iran’s Abolfazl Yaghoubi and Omid Amidi have already earned silver and bronze medals in the -68kg and +80kg respectievly.

A total of 237 athletes from 56 countries are competing at the Manchester Regional Arena for top honors in the Manchester Grand Prix event, which will continue until October 18.
