Iran to participate at World Wushu Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will take part in the 2015 World Wushu Championships with 11 athletes.
The Iranian delegation traveled to Indonesia Wednesday morning.
“Our athletes are well-prepared for the World Wushu Championships. All of them have previously experienced the world events,” head of the Iranian Wushu Federation Mahdi Alinejad said.
“Iran is a role model for world at the moment. I am sure our Wushu players will get the good results in Indonesia,” he added.
The 13th edition of the World Wushu Championships will be held at Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia, from November 11 t0 18.
More than 900 Wushu athletes from 73 countries will participate in the championship.
