Air Force Ready to Defend Iran: Commander
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Lieutenant Commander of the Iranian Air Force Brigadier General Alireza Barkhor highlighted the high level of Iranian Armed Forces' military preparedness.
Speaking in a military gathering in Iran’s southwestern city of Dezful on Wednesday, Barkhor underlined that the Air Force is fully ready to defend the country with all its might whenever necessary.
Earlier is September, IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari had said that what has really restrained the enemies from carrying out their threats of taking military action against Iran is the country’s defense power and weapons.
The Iranian nation’s defensive and revolutionary morale, the country’s wise and brave leadership, as well as “military technologies” in the missile industry and “preparedness of the armed forces” in the ground, naval and air force units are the main deterrent factors, the commander stressed.
