Very Hard Task against Iran Volleyball in Olympic Qualification: Cichello
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national volleyball team's coach Juan Manuel Cichello says that his men will face an uphill task to get a ticket to the Rio Olympics.
Iran will take part in the World qualification tournament which will be held in Japan from May 28 to June 5.
The Iranian team has a chance to advance to the Olympics as the the best Asian team.
“During the Japan qualification tournament we expect to confront champion teams, namely Poland, Champion of the world in 2014, also France the champion of world league in 2015 and Japan champion of Asia in 2015,” the Argentine said.
“We are going to have hard games ahead of us. Any mistakes, can endanger our opportunity to qualify for the event. We must perform acceptable in order to get a ticket to the Rio Olympics,” Cichello added.
