Official: Iran Ready to Share Political Experience with Libya

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for sharing its experience in political fields with Libya, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian said Monday.

“The Iranian government and nation are ready to transfer their experience in state-building and to help Libya leave behind the current problems,” Amir Abdollahian said in a meeting with Deputy Libyan Foreign Minister Abdol Razzaq al-Quraidi here in Tehran.

Referring to  Iran’s huge experience after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Amir Abdollahian expressed the hope that the Libyan nation would remove problems and preserve its independence and national unity.

The Libyan deputy foreign minister, too, underlined the need for the further expansion of ties between Iran and Libya.

He expressed hope that after restoration of security in Libya the ground will be paved for the participation of the Iranian firms in the course of reconstruction of Libya’s economic infrastructures.
