Police Chief Praises High Security in Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Police Chief Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi Moqaddam described security in Iran as "exemplary", but at the same time warned that enemies are using different tactics to undermine the country's security.

"Iran enjoys sustainable security," Ahamdi Moqaddam said, addressing a group of reporters here in Terhan on Monday.

He stated that the high level of security in Iran came at a time that enemies have resorted to many tactics to target public opinion and equip the terrorist groups.

In relevant remarks late in July, Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi praised the Iranian law enforcement and security bodies' performance in ensuring the country's security during elections held on June 14.

In a message at the time, Firouzabadi expressed his gratitude to the Iranian interior minister, his deputies and other personnel for their successful handling of the voting and their measures to hold the elections in a peaceful and calm environment.
