Mehdi Taremi to Undergo Medical at Qatar's Al Gharafa
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national football team and Persepolis striker Mehdi Taremi is scheduled to undergo medical examination at Al Gharafa Monday noon.
The Qatari club has flooded its twitter account with several pictures of its new acquisition.
Taremi is serving a four-month ban from late September after FIFA found he had breached his contract with Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor.
He is allowed to play from Jan. 21.
The 26-year-old forward had been already linked with move to Greek teams, namely Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, PAOK, AEK and Panionios.
Veteran Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder has already joined the Qatari top-flight team.
