Iran Will Fight for Every Game in World Championship: Igor Kolakovic

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national volleyball team head coach Igor Kolakovic said they will fight for every match at the 2018 FIVB Men’s World Championship in Varna, Bulgaria.

Iran is in Pool D along with Poland, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Finland and Bulgaria.

Team Melli will start the event with a match against Puerto Rico on Wednesday.

“We came here to fight for every game. We have to play with heart, not by routine. If we play by routine only, we won’t achieve anything,” Kolakovic said.

Oswald Antonetti Cameron, head coach of Puerto Rico, also said, “We would like to keep getting better. It’s a great competition for us. We want to try and play at the level of our opponents and we’re very excited.”
