Iranian Runner Vahid Alinajimi Takes Gold at Asian Para Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Vahid Alinajimi snatched a gold medal at the Men's 400M T12 in the 2018 Asian Para Games on Thursday.
The Iranian runner finished in first place with a time of 00:00:50.43.
Silver medal went to PHAM NGUYEN KHANH MINH Minh Pham from Vietnam with 00:00:51.53 and Thailand’s Amnat Wongngoen took the bronze with a time of 00:00:55.50.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
