Iran Beats Bolivia in Friendly Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national football team defeated Bolivia 2-1 in a friendly match here on Tuesday.
The warm-up match was part of preparation for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
About 200 female fans attended the match.
Albion winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh was on target in the 17th minute and left-footed Rudy Cardozo equalized the match six minutes into the second half.
Substitute Mehdi Torabi scored the winner for the Iranian team in the 63rd minute.
Carlos Queiroz’s team will also play Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago ahead of the of 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
Iran is in Group D along with Yemen, Iraq and Vietnam.
