Palestinian Hamas Movement Marks Anniversary with Parade of Military Equipment (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Palestinians attended a massive rally in the Gaza Strip to mark the 31st anniversary of Hamas resistance movement's establishment.
Hamas movement marked its foundation anniversary on Sunday with a military parade featuring the movement’s new defensive capabilities, showcasing various equipment of group's military branch Izzddin al-Qassam Brigades.
The ceremony was held in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip which is ruled by the movement.
Hamas was established in 1987 soon after the first Palestinian uprising broke out against the Israeli occupation. The movement has been administering Gaza since 2007 when it scored a surprise parliamentary victory.
