DM: US Unable to Act against Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The US is absolutely incapable of making any move against Iran, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said on Monday, adding that the general conditions in the world and the region will not allow them to act.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony to commemorate the second anniversary of martyrdom of the father of Iran’s missile technology, Hassan Tehrani Moqaddam, here in Tehran on Monday, the defense minister said that it is not a new development that the US says the military option is on the table.

“The Americans are in clash with for 34 years and they have been acting against our system and our revolution in various ways,” he said.

Another top Iranian military commander had on November 9 deplored US president’s repeated rhetoric of “all options are on the table” as sickening, saying that the White House is like a puppet in the hands of the Zionists.

The United States will soon realize that Iran is a power to reckon with, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri said.

"Now the US government is like retarded puppet at the hands of the Zionists. If America had the capability and will to wage a war, it would not hesitate a moment in attacking Syria," said Jazayeri.

"America will soon realize that Iran's power is not something to be ignored... Iran's diplomacy will not be affected by the rusted carrot and stick approach of the US," added Jazayeri.
