Davutoglu Due in Tehran in November

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu plans to pay an official visit to Iran late in November to meet senior Iranian officials.

Davutoglu will visit Tehran on November 26-27 upon an invitation of his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.

During his stay in Tehran, Davutoglu will meet with Iranian officials in a bid to confer on a variety of issues, including bilateral relations.

The Turkish foreign minister will also exchange views with the Iranian officials on the regional and international developments.

Recently, Zarif was in Turkey to attend the nuclear disarmament and international security meeting.

Iranian officials say Iran and Turkey are two major and influential regional countries, which can contribute to peace in the Middle East.
