Iran Condemns Terrorist Attack in Kenya

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi condemned a terrorist attack to a hotel and office complex in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.

In a statement, Qassemi extended condolences to the Kenyan government and nation and offered sympathy to the families of victims of the inhumane move.

At least 21 people killed in an attack at a hotel complex in Nairobi as the incident was brought to an end Wednesday.

The hours-long assault, launched Tuesday by heavily armed militants, targeted the DusitD2 compound, an upmarket cluster of shops and hotel facilities in the Kenyan capital.

More than 700 people were evacuated to safety in the course of the attack.
