Millions of Yemenis Mark National Day of Resistance against Saudi-Led Aggression (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Millions of Yemenis marched throughout the country on Tuesday to mark the fourth anniversary of Yemen’s resistance against the US-Saudi-led aggression on the country.

The capital Sana'a as well as the cities of Sa’ada, Taiz, Ibb, Al-Baidah, Al-Jawf and Rimah witnessed march of millions of Yemenis who walked through the streets of Yemen while chanting “death to America” and “death to Israel” on the end of the fourth year of a Saudi coalition invasion on their country, Al-Masirah reported.

Al-Sabeen square, the largest square of the capital Sana'a, was crowded with thousands of participants who were holding flags of the Republic of Yemen, banners and slogans of the occasion. The participant were also seen waving pictures of the leader of the Houthi Ansarullah movement, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, as well as pictures of the martyrs and those killed due to the Saudi-led war on the country.

Member of the Political Council, Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, welcomed the participants on the occasion, saying that victory is an ally of the Yemenis like Syria and Iraq. He also praised the Palestinian resistance and congratulated the Syrian people for their victory against terrorism.

Member of the Political Council Sultan Al-Samei also delivered a speech in which he said, “We are seeing today the epic of legendary steadfastness, full of unity and cohesion of the internal front against enemies.”

He pointed out that the Yemeni missiles and drones reached the depth of the enemy soil, stressing what awaits the enemies in the fifth year is tough.

Regarding the negotiation process, he stressed the firm position of the Republic of Yemen.

He also rejected the US decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Golan Heights, stressing that Yemen will stand with Syria to liberate its territory, as well as the Palestinian people.
