Iran’s Shahrdari Varamin Beats Polri Samator at Asian Club Volleyball C’ship

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Shahrdari Varamin started the 2019 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship on a high note on Thursday.

The Iranian team defeated Indonesian team Polri Samator 3-1 (25–19, 25–20, 21–25, 25–21) in Pool B at the National Taipei University of Education Gymnasium.

Shahrdari Varamin will face Turkmenistan’s Galkan and Sri Lanka Ports Authority on Friday and Saturday respectively.

The 10th edition of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship is organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association (CTVA).

The tournament is being held in Taipei, Chinese Taipei from April 18 to 26.

The winner of this tournament will be qualified to 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.
