Iranian First VP Felicitates Bosnia-Herzegovina on National Day

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri, in a message to Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vjekoslav Bevanda on Monday, congratulated the Republic’s national day.

In his message, Jahangiri congratulated the Bosnia and Herzegovina's government and nation on the auspicious occasion.

The Iranian first vice president also pointed to ample commonalties between the two countries in cultural and religious fields, and expressed the hope that the two nations’ comprehensive relations would expand in all fields of mutual interest.

The Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina has no common national day, and the 25 November, although marked as the Statehood Day.

In August 2012, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iran on signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of tourism.

 

The two countries have been cooperating for years and this agreement is yet another major step in these countries relations, which opens the door for further investments and cooperation.

Experts say the signed agreement is a proof that Bosnia and Herzegovina's authorities are after future cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The development also shows friendly and brotherly relations between both countries.
