Iranian Woman Yazdani Joins Spanish Cycling Team Teka
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian cyclist Somayeh Yazdani joined Spanish team Teka on Monday.
She wrote her name in the history book, becoming the first Iranian woman to win a medal in the Asian Cycling Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in April.
Another Iranian woman Mandana Dehghan had already joined Dutch cycling team MEXX–Watersley.
Yazdani will travel to Spain in mid-November to join her new team.
