US, Israeli Flags Burned by Iraqi Protesters in Karbala (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iraqi protesters shouted slogans against the US and Israel as they burned their flags in the southern city of Karbala.
Footage posted on social media shows the US and Israel flags being torn apart and set on fire by protesters in Karbala, as demonstrators continue marches, demanding solutions to problems such as corruption and unemployment in the country.
Protesters believe that the US and Israel sought to exploit their anti-corruption demonstrations that have been taking place in Iraq since early October.
