Iranian, Qatari Top Diplomats Discuss Closer Cooperation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, held talks on a host of topics, including ways to boost cooperation between the two Muslim countries in diverse fields.

During the meeting, held in the Qatari capital of Doha on Sunday, Zarif and Al Thani exchanged views about the relations between Iran and Qatar.

The two top diplomats also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and other parts of the world.  

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Doha Forum 2019, which opened on Saturday.
