Iran into 2020 Kabaddi World Cup Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran advanced to the 2020 Kabaddi World Cup (Circle style) semifinals on Thursday.
Team Melli lost to India 39-50 in Group B but qualified for the next stage as the second team.
Iran had previously lost to Sierra Leone 60-19, English 57-26 and Germany 55-23.
Iran will play Pakistan on Saturday.
Group A consists of Pakistan, Australia, Kenya, Azerbaijan and Canada.
The seventh edition of the 2020 Kabaddi World Cup is being held in Punjab from February 9 to 16.
