Fist VP Felicitates Qatar on National Day
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri, in a message to the Qatari prime minister on Wednesday, congratulated the Qatari nation and government on the country’s national day.
In his message to Prime Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Jahangiri said the expansion of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar is the outcome of the two brotherly countries’ deep religious, cultural and historical bonds.
He also underlined the two sides' determination to further boost bilateral ties.
Jahangiri also expressed the hope that the good and constructive ties between two countries would expand in all fields.
Qatar National Day is a national commemoration of Qatar's unification and independence and is celebrated on December 18 every year.
