Iran Earns First Ever Win at Women’s Junior Handball World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran notched up its first ever win in the 2022 IHF Women’s Junior Handball World Championship.
The Iranian girls defeated Mexico 46-26 on Thursday.
Iran is scheduled to play Italy in the 29th place.
This is the first time Iran participates in the world championship.
The 23rd edition of the IHF Women's Junior World Championship is being held in Slovenia from June 22 to July 3 under the aegis of the International Handball Federation (IHF).
