Iran’s Army Condemns European Parliament's Decision against IRGC

Expressing its full support for the IRGC in the statement, the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army rejected the European Parliament's decision to ask the EU to add the IRGC to its list of terrorist organizations and vowed to defend the security and integrity of the country alongside the IRGC.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, which has sacrificed high-ranking heroes such as Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and other great martyrs of the resistance, has a prolonged history of fighting against internal and foreign terrorist groups, including those affiliated with Deash and the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO).

In recent years, the Muslim and oppressed nations of the region, as well as the free people of the world, have witnessed the Islamic Republic of Iran's serious and decisive actions in dealing with barbaric terrorism, and they are aware of Iran's role in crushing terrorism in the region.

Without a doubt, the proposal to include the name of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps on the phony and hypocritical list of terrorist organizations is the result of surrender and blind obedience to the hostile policies of the United States against the Islamic Revolution, and it demonstrates lack of European leaders' independence and their surrender to the will of the United States and global Zionism.

While strongly condemning the illegal action by the European Parliament in proposing to include the name of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps on the self-made and invalid list of terrorist organizations, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran declares that it is more united than ever before, working hand in hand with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps for the security and peace of the Iranian people as well as safeguarding the Islamic Republic and the region's stability.
