Iran’s Mesigar Crowned MVP of 2023 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Moslem Mesigar of Iran was selected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup Thailand 2023 on Sunday.
Mesigar was instrumental throughout the campaign which saw Iran defeat Japan 6-0 in the final on Sunday to lift a record-equaling third title.
He scored six goals as well as his compatriot Ali Mirshekari in the competition.
Born in Iran’s southern port city of Bushehr, the 39-year-old forward plays for Daryanavardan Bushehr beach soccer club.
