Iran Pursuing Balanced Interaction with World: President

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Highlighting his administration’s policy of balanced interaction with all foreign countries, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi emphasized that the internal issues would never be tied to the state of relations with the outsiders.

Addressing a conference on inflation control and production growth, attended by the governmental managers held in Tehran on Monday, President Raisi said his administration’s internal policy is based upon the employment of domestic capacities, while its foreign policy entails balanced relations with all countries.

“We maintain interaction with all world countries in a balanced manner, but have never tied the country’s (domestic) issues to the frown or smile of a few countries,” he underlined, adding that the ground has been prepared for any country willing to interact with the Islamic Republic.

The president also lauded Iran’s success in thwarting the enemies’ attempts to foment discontent in the society and foiling the plots to cause a rift between the Iranian people and government.

Raisi then assigned the ministries of industry, oil, energy, agriculture and economy to focus on plans to curb inflation and stimulate production.

In a message on the occasion of Nowruz on March 21, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said inflation is the main problem and domestic production is definitely one of the keys to saving the country from economic problems.

“So, considering these matters, I would like to announce that this year’s slogan is: ‘Inflation control, growth in production’. This is the slogan for this year,” the Leader said.
