Iranian Boxers Win Bronzes at U-22 & Youth Asian Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Three Iranian boxers won bronze medals at the ASBC U-22 and Youth Asian Boxing Championships in Kazakhstan.
Mohammad Mahshari in the 75 kg, Ali Seyed Sadri in the 86 kg, and Reza Khalilzadeh in the +92 kg failed to advance to the final match and took three bronze medals in the competition.
Amir Esmaeili Vandaei (+92 kg) has previously qualified for the final match.
Iran competed in all of the recent editions of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships in 2021 and in 2022.
The championship started in Astana, Kazakhstan, on April 25 and will run until May 8.
