President Rouhani Congratulates Myanmar on National Day
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday congratulated the Myanmarian nation and government on the occasion of the country’s National Day.
In a message to Myanmar's President Thein Sein, Rouhani expressed the hope that two countries could take necessary steps to realize common goals and intrests.
He also wished health and success for President Sein and glory for the Myanmarian nation.
The Independence Day of Myanmar is a national holiday observed in Myanmar on January 4 of every year. The date celebrates Myanmar's Declaration of Independence from Britain on January 4, 1948.
