Iran’s Hashem Beikzadeh Breaks His Hand
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran national football team left back Hashem Beikzadeh will miss the 2015 AFC Asian Cup after suffering a hand injury.
The 30-year-old player sustained a broken bone in his hand in the training on Tuesday.
Beikzadeh also missed the 2014 World Cup in Brazil due to calf problem.
Iran has been scheduled to face Bahrain on Sunday in its opener.
Team Melli will also meet Qatar and the UAE in Group C.
The 2015 AFC Asian Cup will kick off on January 9 in Australia.
