Ben Williams to Referee Iran, Iraq Match in Quarters

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Australian Benjamin Williams has been named as the referee for the Iran and Iraq match in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

Iran will face Iraq in the quarter-final round in Canberra on Friday.

The 38-year-old international referee will be assisted by his countrymen Matthew Cream and Paul Cetrangolo.

Williams has already officiated Iran and Bahrain match, where the Iranian football team defeated Bahrain 2-0. 

Iran coach Carlos Quiroz was fined for saying Williams "wasn't at the level of the game".
