Tractor Sazi Could Qualify for ACL Next Stage, Oliveira Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tractor Sazi coach Tony Oliveira said his team is ready to face Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia in Group D of the AFC Champions League and could qualify for the next stage.
The Iranian team has been scheduled to face Al-Ahli on Wednesday at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
“We know the match against Al-Ahli is very difficult and we also know we have a fewer chance to advance to the next stage comared to Al-Ahli; however Tractor Sazi will do its best to get the best results in group stage," Oliveira said.
"We could qualify for the knockout stage,” he added.
“Tractor Sazi must stay focused. Al-Ahli is one of the Saudi Arabia’s strongest team but I believe that we could advance to the next stage,” the Portuguese added.
Tractor Sazi is third in Group D with three points, one point clear of leader Al-Ahli.
