Iran Hammers Nepal in AFC U-19 Championship Qualifier
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran humiliated Nepal 10-0 in the AFC U-19 Championship qualifier in Mashhad on Friday.
Iran went top of the Group E standings after the first match day courtesy of a vastly superior goal difference over Kuwait, who defeated Jordan 2-1 earlier on Friday.
Iran will take Jordan on Sunday and Kuwait meet Nepal.
Ten group winners and five best second-placed teams will qualify for the finals while host Bahrain received an automatic qualification (total 16 teams).
