Iran’s Khanlari Receives AFC Young Medical Officer Award

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Parhan Khanlari of Iran received bronze at the first ever AFC Young Medical Officer Award on Monday.

A total of 18 professionals received AFC Distinguished Gold, Silver and Bronze Service Awards for their services their respective professions, the-afc wrote.

The AFC Young Medical Officer Awards is an award to be given to medical officers aged 45 years and below who have been actively involved in football and with commendable contribution to football through research and development.

The first AFC Medical Awards held in New Delhi in conjunction with the 5th AFC Medical Conference 2015 which is an excellent platform to hold the award ceremony as that was a gathering of the football medical fraternity within Asia, in addition to delegates coming from FIFA and from the other football confederations.
