Iran Athletic Federation Reaches Agreement with Hungarian Coaches

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian athletic federation has reached an agreement with two Hungarian coaches.

The federation negotiated with hammer thrower coach Adrian Annus.

The 42-year-old Hungarian coach was stripped of his gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens for a doping violation in a highly publicized scandal.

The Iranian athletic federation has also reached an agreement with discus thrower Robert Fazekas.

Fazekas, 39, won gold in the 2002 European Championships and silver in the 2003 World Championship. He claimed a gold medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics.
