Iran Beats Saudi Arabia at Asian Water Polo Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national water polo team defeated Saudi Arabia in the Asian Olympic Qualifying Tournament on Thursday.
In the match held in Foshan, south China's Guangdong Province, Iran beat its rival 18-9.
The Iranian team will play host China on Friday.
Iran had lost to Japan 23-2 in the first day of the competition.
Five men's teams China, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia are competing in the tournament with the winner qualifying for Rio.
