Iranian DM Congratulates Counterparts on Christmas, New Year
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – In separate messages on Sunday, Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan congratulated his counterparts in a number of countries on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ and the beginning of the new Christian year.
The Iranian minister sent congratulatory messages to his opposite numbers in Russia, Armenia, Belarus, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, North Korea, China, Lebanon, India, South Africa, Serbia, Poland, Greece, Venezuela, Italy, Brazil, Spain and Bolivia.
Extending felicitations on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ and beginning of 2016, Dehqan hoped for establishment of global peace and security and expansion of relations between Iran and these countries.
