Several Saudi Troops Killed in Yemen’s Rocket Attack

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A number of Saudi military forces were killed after Yemeni troops launched several rockets against a military base in the province of Ma’rib.

The fatalities were caused during rocket attacks by the Yemeni army forces and allied Popular Committees against the Sahn al-Jin military base located in the oil-rich province of Ma’rib in west-central Yemen late on Thursday, Saba Net news agency reported on Friday.

The attacks also killed an unspecified number of loyalists to Yemen’s fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.

Defenseless people of Yemen have been under massive attacks by a coalition led by the Saudi regime for more than six months.

On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies, including the UAE, began to launch deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President, a close ally of Riyadh.

More than 4000 people, many of them children and women, have been killed in the Saudi-led aggression against the Arab country so far.
