Iran Comes Third at Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran took revenge on Russia in the 2017 Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup in Dubai, the UAE on Saturday.
Marco Octavio’s men, who were defeated by Russia 4-3 in group stage, beat the powerhouse team 4-2 in the third-place play-off.
Title-holder Brazil beat Portugal 2-0 to win the title for the second time in a row and the third time overall.
Bokinha and Filipe Silva scored for the Brazilian team.
