Syrian Army Resumes Military Operations against ISIL in Southern Al-Safa Region (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Syrian Army continued its military operations against the Daesh (ISIL - ISIS) terrorists in the southern region of Al-Safa.
The Syrian Army, led by their 3rd Corps and 10th Division, began assault by storming the ISIL defenses from three different flanks in the Al-Safa region.
The Syrian Army then was able to advance to the western Al-Safa region and liberated more than 500 meters of rocky terrain.
The Army also managed to seize several points inside the Al-Habariyah and Qabr Sheikh Hussein areas.
