Iran’s Men’s Kabaddi Starts 2022 Asian Games on High Note
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s kabaddi team defeated Pakistan 43-16 in Group B of the 2022 Asian Games on Monday.
Team Melli will play Malaysia and South Korea in the following days.
Iran’s women’s team has been also pitted against Bangladesh and Nepal in Group B.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
