Iran into Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy 2023 Semifinals
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's women booked their place in the semifinals of the Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy 2023.
Team Melli Banovan defeated Uzbekistan 31-12 and Qatar 22-0 but lost to the UAE 17-0 in its third match.
The 2023 edition feature teams from the host nation Qatar as well as Iran, Guam, Uzbekistan, India, Mongolia, and the UAE.
The event is being held at the Onazia Training Pitch in Doha, Qatar. With 22 teams from 17 countries with a total of 264 men and women participating, it is the biggest 7s event of the year.
