Iran’s Export of Non-Oil Goods to Pakistan Up 25% in January 2024

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s export of non-oil products to Pakistan registered a 25% growth in the first month of the current year compared to January 2023, according to the Pakistani ministry of commerce.

Pakistan imported $104 million of products from the Islamic Republic in January 2024, it reported.

According to the ministry’s data, Pakistan had imported over $83 million of goods from Iran in January 2023.

Pakistan imported $4737 million of products in January 2024.

Pakistan’s export of products to Iran has significantly declined in recent years.

In return, Pakistan’s import of products from Iran has registered an ascending trend, rising 2.5-fold during the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi.

Pakistan’s import of products from Iran increased from $372 million in 2020 to $944 million in 2023, showing a considerable jump, the ministry said.
