Iran Greco-Roman Wins 2024 Asian Wrestling Championships Title
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s Greco-Roman wrestling team won the title of the 2024 Asian Wrestling Championships on Tuesday.
Team Melli won four golds overall as well as three silver and two brone medals and easily won the team title for the third straight year with 200 points.
Kyrgyzstan, with one champion, finished second with 144, just two points ahead of third-place Japan and its three gold medalists.
Iran’s freestyle team had already won the title with 190 points Sunday.
