Emilio Alvarez Named Tractor Coach: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Spanish Emilio Alvarez Blanco was named the new goalkeeping coach of Iran’s Tractor football team.
The 53-year-old coach has previously served as goalkeeping coach at Real Madrid B, Valencia, Benfica, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United.
Tractor has recently parted company with Spanish coach Paco Jemez.
The Tabriz-based team has almost missed the chance of winning the Iran football league.
With seven weeks remaining, Tractor sits fourth in the 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL) table with 40 points.
