China First Destination for Iran's Products: Envoy
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The commercial attaché of the Iranian Embassy in China said that this Asian country is the first destination for the Iranian goods.
Chinese people are seeking high-quality goods and paying special attention to this issue will boom exports to this country, Hamid Adeli noted.
Speaking in a conference on introducing the opportunities of participating in China International Import Expo held on the sidelines of Iran Expo 2024, he called for more recognition of the situation of Chinese market.
To that end, goods needed by Chinese should first be examined and then embark on exporting high-quality products to this country, Mehr news agency reported.
The agricultural, pharmaceutical and oil products are China’s main imported products while its main export products are mechanical and electrical equipment, he emphasized.
Trade exchanges between Iran and China surged by 37% in the first two months of 2024 compared to the same period last year, reaching a total of $2.879 billion, according to a report released earlier.
