Pilgrims Celebrate Birthday of Imam Mahdi (AS) in Mashhad

MASHHAD (Tasnim) – People visited the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad on Saturday night to celebrate Mid-Shaban, the 15th day of the lunar month of Shaban, which marks the birth anniversary of the 12th Shiite imam, Imam Mahdi (AS).
