Iran into Kabaddi World Cup Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran men's team secured semifinal berth in the 2014 Kabaddi World Cup in Punjab, India.
The Iranian team defeated US (40-39), Australia (59-29), Spain (54-27) and lost to India (53-39) in Pool A.
Iran is scheduled to face Pakistan on December 18 at the Saheed Bachan Singh Kabaddi Stadium Dirba.
The total of the 11 nations are participating in the men's tournament, and the eight nations taking part in the women's tournament.
